About Us
Garden of the Gods Club is a legendary private club and luxury residential community in Colorado Springs.  Our Kissing Camels golf course features 27 holes of championship golf with bunkered greens, towering pines, and the landscaping of the lush mountain range.  The Club also offers indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a state-of-the-art Sports Club, a full-service Spa & Salon, gourmet dining, two swimming pools, a Recreation Center, and private event space that is ideal for for meetings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and weddings.  During their stays, guests of the Lodge have complete access to all of the amenities that our private country club has to offer.

Christina

Christina

Christina, our director of communications, comes to us from Albuquerque, N.M., where she worked as a newswire editor.  She has also worked as a private banker at a major bank.  Christina has an MBA from Grand Canyon University, where she focused her studies on marketing and finished with a 4.0 GPA.  She graduated summa cum laude from University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.  Christina, who is originally from Arizona, relocated to Colorado Springs in search of cooler weather.  She lives with her husband, an orthopedic PA, and a huge dog named Max.  Fascinated by new media and Web 2.0, Christina manages our social media program and enjoys interacting with Members and the public via Facebook and Twitter.  When she’s not at the office, Christina spends her time hiking, jogging, playing golf, watching Arizona basketball (go Wildcats!), traveling, and trying to learn new things.

Tonia

Tonia

Tonia, our marketing coordinator, is a Colorado native, and she grew up exploring the mountains with her dad. After studying communications, Spanish, and dance at Colorado State University, she moved to Colorado Springs with her husband, Dan. Writing has always one of Tonia’s passions, and she genuinely enjoys contributing to the blog. Outside of work, Tonia teaches ballet and dances with a local, contemporary dance company called Flourish Dance. She is very interested in the role of the arts in positive transformation at both the individual and community levels. Tonia is continually amazed by the power of community, as she believes that relationships are one of the most important things in life. She has been with Garden of the Gods Club since August 2011 and enjoys working with such a great team.

Cory

Cory

Formerly from Peoria, Illinois, Cory (Garden of the Gods Club’s head golf professional) moved to Phoenix to attend the Mundus School of Golf Course Management. In March of 2007, he was elected to membership by the PGA of America and has worked in the golf industry for approximately 10 years. During the last six years, he was a Golf Professional at The Raven at South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona. Cory’s true passion is teaching, and he takes pride in giving quality instruction to adults and junior golfers of all abilities. His teaching philosophy is to help his students be the best possible golfers they can realistically desire to be depending on their physical limitations. Cory’s most important goal is to empower the student with knowledge regarding the golf swing, rules of golf, etiquette, and equipment. He currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Melissa, and their three dogs.

Chris

Chris

Chris Ewen, our golf course superintendent for Kissing Camels, joined our team in 2006 after having worked at New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces, NM, and Santa Ana/Twin Warriors in Albuquerque, NM. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in science and agriculture from New Mexico State University, where he played college baseball. Originally from Davenport, IA, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Dani and son Austin.

Shea

Shea

Shea, our director of golf course maintenance, earned a degree in education from Dakota Wesleyan University. After finishing a college baseball career, his focus shifted to golf course maintenance. Soon after he received his certificate in Turfgrass Management from Pennsylvania State University, Shea moved to Colorado Springs from Canon City, Colorado, in 2002. He has been working on the Kissing Camels golf course since April of 2003. In his spare time, Shea loves to spend quality time with his two boys, Cael and Cain.

Jeanne

Jeanne

A native of Colorado, Jeanne has been part of Garden of the Gods Club’s family since 2001. She is the merchandiser/buyer for our Golf Shop, which has been featured in several trade publications and the top 100. Jeanne is an accomplished seamstress and a licensed cosmetologist. She and her husband John have three children, six adorable grandchildren, and a Yorkie-Poo named Joey. When Jeanne isn’t at work, she enjoys golfing, entertaining friends and family, and spending time with her grandkids.
